Since its inception, National Building Maintenance CO has put all its effort to comply with the highest standards of quality, through its offering of multiple services that attends to the needs of maintenance and cleaning of facilities and customer personalized service.
The company opened its doors in Puerto Rico in 1967 at the head of Helcias Bermudez, founder of National Building Maintenance CO.
Since then, it has gained ground in different markets, which led it to expand its services to the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica for the years 80s and 90s.
Currently, Bermudez remains as a consultant and shareholder of the Corporation, while his son, Helmy Bermudez continues their efforts leading and presiding the NBM Group and Costa Rica and Dominican Republic operations. With more than 2,500 employees National Building Maintenance CO., has achieved financial stability, experience and knowledge in the areas of need and increased demand, and thus contributing to the economic growth of our country.
In Costa Rica, operations began since 1992, in the Industrial Park of Cartago and with the arrival of new medical devices manufacturing plants, it extended its operations and growth to the free trade zones of the Aurora de Heredia and Coyol, Alajuela
In October 2001 NBM obtained the certification of ISO 9001:2008, being the first maintenance company in Puerto Rico to obtain this prestigious distinction of quality standard. Helcias Bermudez, continuing with its commitment to excellence, merged its operations with GCA Services Group Inc. in 2003.

From here, we establish the guidelines for the operations that National Building Maintenance CO, has in different countries. Through weekly meetings our Headquarters office is aware of the operations and maintains constant communications with their different managers in each country.
Costa Rica Office:
Costa Rica offices are located in Zona Franca Ultra Park, in La Aurora de Heredia.
From here we coordinate the operations, training and logistics National Building Maintenance CO, has in the country. We have the latest technology in order to have an effective communication with all our customers. We also have a satellite office in each of the operations we serve customers.
We have modern training rooms and conference call centers to optimize our communications with headquarters.
